I left UCR at 1230 to look for more Sceloporus orcutti, reaching the collecting site at 1300 (corner of Markham and Brown Roads). From then until I left at 1445, I saw 7 Sceloporus orcutti (1 ad ♀, 2 immatures, 4 juvenals) and 4 Uta stansburiana. The air temp. (meter) ranged from 23.8°C at 1300 to 23.0°C. at 1445. Two animals were captured, one of which was released at the capture site. The sky was sunny & almost no breeze was blowing. I reached UCR at 1505 after a 2.3 mile trip.
