Dale Dry Lake, San Bernardino Co., Calif.
15 feet north of this bush at the
east side of some Hilaria rigida.
I took some pictures of it, a
tse-clipped Uma seoparia (in B24)
was noosed about 400 yards west
of the release point. 3 toes have been
clipped, 2 Chionactis occipitalis
remains, 1 large Uma seoparia
remains, 10 live scorpions (large) & 1
live jurunal scorpion, as well as
the remains of several others were
taken from our traps, along with
numerous beetles. Troglobatoma c.
mayhewi & Sepinus mayhewi were
found for the 1st time since last December. A number of Pelycophorus [illegible]?
elso were found for the first time
since last winter. The tracks of
a baby Crystalus cerastes were seen.
a Urosaurus graciosa was seen in
Dalea spinosa, but couldn't be
captured. Uma seoparia #124 was
found in trap #1 (in B76). We learned
there had been 0.75" of rain on Aug. 30th.
We left the area at 1200. Plants
seen in bloom in the 29 Palma area
were: Cassia armata, Pectis peppeosa,
Palofoxia linearis, Datura metelsides,
and some I didn't recognize.
