We caught all the Uma cesparia and Uma insueta that we saw, and about 1/2 of the Uma notata. The following plants were seen in bloom at these locations: Palm Springs area Isomeris arborea Oenothera deltoides Encelia farinosa Yaraea canescens Nama demissum Abronia villosa Dithyrea californica Lupinus sp. slawis area Psilophia linearis Helianthus tephrodes Dithyrea californica Astragalus piersonii Larrea diviricata Abronia villosa Croton californica Montezelia multiflora Hesperocallia undulata are becoming quite large, but are not blooming yet. The perennials appear to be in fine shape, and quite a few annuals are beginning to appear just above the soil. Dale Dry Lake area Cryptantha sp. Physalis crassifolia Hyptis emorgi The perennials in the washes look good, but the ones on the open desert don't look so good. Many annuals are beginning to show through the ground, but most of them are only a few millimeters high.
