Mayhew 1960 Journal 61. Aug. 15 Palm Springs, Riverside Co., Calif. Bob Lasiewski & I left UCR at 0520 to try to get some Dipsoasura dorsalis. The weather was very pleasant, with the temperature remaining below 100° F. until afternoon. As a result, 64 animals were captured this morning: 24 Dipsoasura dorsalis 27 Uma inornata 3 Crotophytus wialigani (juv.) 1 Cnemidophorus tigris (juv.) 2 Dipsoasura dorsalis (juv.) 1 Urosaurus graciosa (juv.) 6 Uma inornata (juv.) 64 animals We returned to UCR at 1240 after driving 105 miles today. Sept. 9 Glamis area, Imperial Co., Calif. Walt Moberly, Ray Folmar, Tony Tebelakio, & I left UCR at 1035 in #240 (1958 Chev. station wagon). We reached the Glamis area at 1640 (Highline Canal). We drove slowly between the two canals looking for animals. 9 Phrynosoma mcalli were collected here (6 immatures). We reached the Yuma Dunes about sundown, but still were able to capture 6 adult Uma notata before dark. (Sundown at 1753- last Uma caught at 1820.) One young & 1 adult Crotalus cerastes were found
