Journal 5 Audrey 1960 July 17 - Snow Creek, 3 mi N.W. of Palm Springs, Riverside Co., Calif. A stop was made here on our way home in order to plant a [illegible] reptile trap on the lee side of a sand dunmroke. Air temperature was 45°C and a 5-6 mph N.W. wind was blowing. No lizards were seen. We then returned to UCR, arriving at 1630 after driving 553 miles. Altogether a total of [illegible] lizards were caught, including 16 Uma scoaria, 20 Uma notata, 1 Culeonyx variegatus, 5 Phrynosoma platyphinum 2 Emmelophorus tigris, 13 Dipsozaenus dorsalis, Callisaurus draconoides, 4 Rotaphtus wislizeni, and Urosaurus graciosa.
