We arose at 0600 (camped near power
lines near Garnet) and ate breakfast.
We looked for lizards along the old highway
from 0715. Then we drove through 1000 Palms
to Vista Chino Road in Palm Springs.
We collected until 1025, then returned to
UCR. We reached UCR at 1145, after
driving 73 miles today (666 miles
driven on the entire trip). Uma inornata
seem to be very scarce around the
Coachella Valley this spring. almost
