Mayhew 1959 Journal 29. Mar. 14 UCR campus, Riverside Co., Calif. swimming in the small pond just east of Webber Hall. It flew out of the area when we arrived, but when we passed near the pond again about 30 minutes later, it was back swimming in the same location. We watched it from a distance for about 15 minutes. We reached the area just east of Brawly about 2100 and began to drive slowly for night collecting. One Colemyx variegatus was all that was seen all evening.
