Larrea divaricata

In addition, numerous annuals are

through the Pintos Mts. in Joshua Tree

We drove down the Brawley - Glamis
Road looking for reptiles. The only one
found was an adult Crotalus cerastes
that had just been hit by a car.
We stopped looking at 1900 and set
up camp 2 miles east of Glamis (our
spot on Dune Crest Drive was occupied).
Maximum temp. today was 82°F., minimum temp.
tonight was 57°F. We drove 202 miles today.
