At any rate, they were much spookier this trip than ever before. After eating lunch, we drove to the end of the pavement leading to Rice (started at 1130). We collected several animals along the side of the road. We reached the end of the road at 1515. We had a long way to go to get back to UCR, so decided not to try to collect any animals on the return trip.
