At 10:30 AM. one member of this species was found singing in the top of a digger pine.
The characteristic song was repeated every few seconds until it flew. The flight was undulating; with rapid wing beats to gain the top of the path, then a downward glide.
It has a dull chirping note that it gives when flying.

North end of stadium - one was seen in the top of a tree from which he sang for several seconds. His song is more melodious & not so jerky as as the song of the House Finch.

a ♂ was seen feeding a ♀ in the top of a willow tree. The ♀ fluttered her wings & uttered several notes while the ♂ was feeding her.
