Mayhew 1947 Rana aurora (Red-legged frog) I. May 10 Wildcat canyon, Contra Costa Co., Calif. One specimen was found in the bottom of a pool about 10' in diameter, and about 2 1/2' deep. He remained motionless between two rocks. His sides were red, his back was dark in color. The pond was completely shaded.
