Greater Yellow-legs
Conaway Ranch, 2 miles east of Woodland, Yolo Co., Calif.
A flock of 13 were seen in the large
drainage ditch that marks the southern
boundary of the ranch. One & Wilson
Phalarope was in the flock with them.
Two of the yellow-legs had one injured
leg apiece, so that they hobbled around
while feeding.
