Mayhew 1949 June 26 Greater Yellow-legs Conaway Ranch, 2 miles east of Woodland, Yolo Co., Calif. A flock of 13 were seen in the large drainage ditch that marks the southern boundary of the ranch. One & Wilson Phalarope was in the flock with them. Two of the yellow-legs had one injured leg apiece, so that they hobbled around while feeding.
