Mayhew 1947 Mar. 8 Hutton Vireo Strawberry Canyon, U.C. campus, Alameda Co., Calif. At 11:20 A.M. one individual was seen in an oak tree. It doesn't appear as neworo as the Ruby- crowned Kinglet, although it is similar in appearance. The white wing bar is more prominent in this vireo.
