Bush-tit 2. Mayhew 1947 Mar, 8 Strawberry Canyon, U.C. campus, Alameda Co., Calif. nest for 10 seconds. Then both birds flew off. at 8:58 A.M. they returned to the vicinity of the nest. Both were at the nest together. One left after 20 seconds, the other remained for 45 secs. at 11:10 AM. a flock of about 10 was seen in some small shrubs. Apparently this flock hadn't yet broken up for the nesting season.
