until it stopps wiggling, then stand
motionless again until they locate another
worm. Sometimes they drop 2 or 3 worms
on the ground in order to pull another one out
of the ground. Then they collect up all the
dead worms they have dropped. When they get
their bills full, they take the load to the
nest, provided the other parent isn't already there.
In that case, they wait patiently
until the first bird leaves the nest.
