96 Grand Canyon Note on Heatherhill at Kayenta. Nov. 12, 1930. Indian lands are so badly overgrazed by sheep & goats that the land is eroding away and the water supplies being lost. Sheep eat the grass or the natural dikes & then the dikes wash away. He is interested in seeing Turkeys, Pheasants & Buff White quail hunt on Navajo Mts & Mesa Verde. His brother raises pheasants.
