Likewise he was noncommitted on suggestion that Jackson Lake dam be converted to dykes & spillway to hold level of lake constant. Only reasons he advanced were great cost of providing additional storage & fact that J S reservoir storage should not be lost. Believe we should now request Departmental consideration of this problem, in writing. Farson says planned to construct Cocino Reservoir at same time as Bridge. Senate has eliminated Bluff Reservoir. Says Cocino will hold back about 1/4 mile of lower Colo. R. Aug. 7. To Davis Dam & Eldorado Canyon with Dilatton & Art Brown. Davis Dam masterplan looks fine. But believe Eldorado Canyon plan should be revised to get lodge & residences up out of wash & for bluff overlooking lake.
