Dusky Grouse, one female was seen by the cabin, and three, about half a mile down the canyon, two of which were seen to be males.) They were feeding in the meadow next to the west slope. Many coyote & fox tracks were seen all down the valley for 2 miles. Some deer tracked. Many Badger workings. This was all in the meadow land down in the canyon. Three old windmills & wells are in this area. Many Moggie's juncos, & Jays were at one of these old water holes. More water holes would be feasible & desirable.
