Particularly near the water hole in Rice Hollow, Cliffrose is utterly stripped. In the areas of forest utilization, Russian Thistle covers the ground. This is its first appearance on the range, as far as I have noticed, but it indicates what can take place if further range abuse occurs. In summary: it is my opinion that game must be reduced further; that a reduction of domestic stock would be desirable if it can be affected; that the range is being held in an unproductive state.
