Tater Canyon & Region Feb. 28, 1934 Birds seen: 1 golden eagle 1 prairie falcon numerous ravens 1 canyon wren several chickadees numerous horned larks " juncoes Tater Canyon to South Canyon Feb. Mar. 1, 1934 Eight coyote tracks seen enroute today. Three cottontails likewise. Range in excellent recovery condition but no great quantity of grass. In some of the wash beds growth was twice high & luxuriant in growth. Covajia juniper & sage recovering remarkably. Deer tracks not numerous. It seems to me that the range is not nearly normally stocked with deer. South Canyon March 2, 1934 Feb. 30, 1934 Nine coyote tracks seen today and 2 cottontails, 1 jack rabbit.
