back. This is unfortunate
because cubs have several
times gotten in behind the
fence and are very difficult
to drive out. The grizzly
mothers usually get some frantic
and on one occasion charged
to within 5 feet of the ranger
then turned away. This fence
should be closed in back.
About 10:00 P.M. as we
returned from Canyon, a marten
ran across the road in front
of the car, perhaps half way
between Canyon to Norris.
