368. This point has suffered damage to perhaps 75 years of growth. Utilization is still so heavy that it may take 50 years to recover provided overbrowsing does not recur. The north rim should support no more deer than at present, for many years. The range between headquarters and Point Sublime is, as always, not very productive. Grass is present in sparse fleck. Not much forage of any character in yellow pine belt. Point Sublime proper shows some recovery (especially cowania) except at peaks of point. Its rate of recovery is almost the same as at Cape Royal. Camp equipment - tables, benches, comfort stations, incinerator & signs have been placed on the point. They are unsightly and unnecessary, & greatly detract from the point.
