342. and coyote tracks seen today. The cougar tracks was near the junction of Saddle Canyon & Marble Canyon. Now that the count is finished, we have decided on a 35% count on the west side estimating a total of 12,900 deer there and a 10% count on the east side, estimating 3,100 deer here. The grand total, 16,000 deer. We have agreed that it would be best to keep the east side closed to hunting in order to build up the herd, but that the west side herd should certainly not be increased at present.
