At first they showed no effects but in about half a minute they began running wildly through the woods, pawing and shaking their heads. Apparently it hurt their eyes. In a few minutes they showed no ill effects & went about their foraging as though nothing had happened. Four bears have been killed at Fishing Bridge. It is decided to kill about 3-4 more.
