Molly Islands.
July 25, 1932
Arrived at the islands about 7:00 PM
Thirty adult pelicans were at the
islands. The young were in the sea
pools. As nearly as we could count,
there were 102 young pelicans. The
black primaries were beginning to
show. About half the young took to
the water. No cormorants were
seen. I did not see the terns, altho
they may have been present.
One young pelican had hatched
within the last 3-4 days. 2 eggs we
found but think then deserted.
