JULY 18, 1932.
At the bear show tonight Dr. Bryant,
Dr. Bauer, George Crouse, George Bagby,
and other rangers and ranger naturalists were
present. The bear component was:
3 blackes
1 grizzly with 2 cubos
1 " " 2 "
1 " " 2 "
1 " " 1 "
1 " " 1 yearling
3 yearlings
3 cubos (another shot)
12 other adult grizzlies
Total 31 grizzlies
3 blackes
The other adult with 3 cubos did
not come in tonight, but it is
reported that all 6 cubos followed
her out of the arena last night.
The orphan cubos circled around
the meadow for about 15 minutes
before they finally came into the
platform gate.
One brown bear blind in
one eye (present the night we shot
the grizzles) repeatedly drove a
young grizzly mother from the
table. It threatened everything
else and drove one black away
