Thompson Crater Lake Interview with Godfrey. Oct. 11, 1930 Godfrey saw 5 Elks on [illegible] Salem Creek July 1929, and 3 Elks along the south boundary Sep. 15, 1930; one near the Praying desert, Oct. 1929. We have seen no marmots, weasels, porcupine, nor squirrels, all of which are reported to be here in abundance. Godfrey thinks that the west boundary should be extended to include the deer wintering grounds in the Rogue River watershed.
