Beaver Lakes 227. Simpson May 28, 1932. Near Yellowstone In the sage brush on the hill we heard 3 rock wrens and 3 warblers ruby crowned brigtes Mt chickadees vesper sparrows elfe elfels carles crows ravens robing sparrow hawks In Clematus Gulch we saw a Catbird, the first live seen. There were heavy signs of winter grazing all the way. Even in Clematus Gulch, the "high water" mark was pronounced. One bear tracks was seen in the gulch.
