Marmoth to Lamar River Bridge 220. mpson Census Yellowstone May 26, 1932 The day id cold, winly, & gray with intermittent snow storme. Drift time was from 8:30 to 4:00. The census was as follows: Mammals (seen from the road only) Elk' 121 in bands of 12, 6, 5, 4, 5, 3, 34, 91, and a scattering of singles. Antelope 14 in bands of 3, 1, 3, 1, 2, and 4. Deer, 6 Snowshoe Rabbit 1 Marmot 5 Ground squirrel 5 Badger 1 (seen from the road only) Birds Rocky Mt. Nutatches 1 Swinets 3 Robins 6 Mt. Bluebirds 10 ?, 4 ? Audobon Starblers 10 (upon returning we saw about 10 ?) Brewer Blackbird 8 ?, 6 ? Flickers 1 Eng. Sparrows 5 Chiffchig Sparrows 17 Magpile 1 Redwing Blackbird 4 ?, 1 ?
