Tompson Yosemite March 21, 1932 before a heavy storm. Sometimes deer get caught in the Bridgport country. Bear rather plentiful in this country & around Bridge Canyon. 11 bear were taken in Bridgeport country about 8 yrs. ago. Nevada trappers have come in within the past 5 yrs. & trapped cyotes in Bodie, Fletcher & Mono. Some seasons they claimed 200 coyotes were caught. Leaver Smyer was in Mr. J's cabin this last year. Grouse very scarce. One seen on road between Ellery Creek Lake & Warren Creeks last year. Mr. Gardiner saw a weasel got a grouse & eat it in the morning. He also saw a weasel kill a Great Blue Heron, over by Devil's Foot Pile. They will also kill poble rabbits. Great Horned Owls will get grouse, probably worst enemy of all. Mr. J. thinks the eagles are the worst enemies of the Mt. Sheep. Quail (Mt. Quail) are few in Leming Canyon - Mr. J. thinks
