Reference Yosemite N.P. March 18, 1932 Mr. Garbliski who has a store on the Bigga Road by head of Sevening Canyon was just in the office. Mt. Sheep (Ovis canadensis sierrae). Mr. Gardliski has seen no sign of them in that region. We asked him to watch for them when we were at Saddle Bag Lake in July 1929. He has seen no sign of wolverine either although I saw a wolverine track at Saddle Bag Lake in 1929. He still traps martin in the vicinity of his store, but he says their fells are badly infected with ticks & lice. He says that martins come up to his store in winter. They were on his roof this last winter. Badgers are quite common. He say they seem to come out just before a storm & dig many holes. If they find a rodent in the hole he thinks they stay there until after the storm. Coyotes do not stay up in the ints during winter. The recent fish plants have been very successful in the Saddle Bag Lake region. Various trout have been planted, but I did not find out kinds.
