Thompson Carlsbad Caverns Bat Cave April 25, 1931 flies. 3 kinds of beetles; light colored crickets; moths; cave- mouse tracks; dead bats; a dead spiloge, under the shaft (we took the skull, and a dead antelope ground squirrel? which specimen we also took. It seems inconceivable that so much life could live in such darkness.
