Mayhew 1958 Cnemidophorus hyperythrus May 10 UCR campus, Riverside Co., Calif. This morning Brent Browning and Steve Barney captured an adult in the future botanical garden on the S.E. edge of the campus. July 16 For the past two weeks three of us have been diligently searching the area around the rocky outcrops on the southern edge of the campus looking for Sceloporus orcutti. Having this species also occurs in the same general location. In spite of our activities in catching S. orcutti, only 1 specimen of this species has been seen. It was not captured although an effort was made to do so. 1959 April 11 UCR campus, Riverside Co., Calif. Two adults were seen in thick brush on the south edge of the campus, but neither could be caught. 1962 Nov. 12 Ken Evans trapped a juvenile today on the S.E. portion of the campus. It measured 38 mm. in SV length.
