L. 30. P. S.
Next I went to the museum + met the director, Prof. Oscar de Beaux. He had had my letter from Papua + had a lot of specimens not ready for me, which act I consider exceptionally thoughtful of him. Ellie is due here tomorrow; & I am very tired thru missing my sleep last night & am shutting down.
Tues. May 18. For several days - in fact a week - El. & I have been working at the museum. Found most of the types + also a number of other things of interest which I have noted down. DeBeaux has done everything possible to help us. Today we went over the fowled collection. Yesterday he took us out to see this zoological park at Nervi.
Hope to leave on the latter part of this week for Berlin.
