Only one specimen from tropics: Rattus rungeri the fruit rat which though I felt sure it must be here I had not yet taken. It had had all its "innards" devoured by some predator (probably a Kite). Boren & Rand both left when I got back, so sent my boy on by extra boat (with two left behind by Rand). Rand & Boren with their tents & gear went in two big canoes paddled by seven or eight Sukis.
