The foregoing eight drawings give some idea of the anatomy of the animal, parts just which I dissected. The occiput and atlas are articulated so as to allow extreme forward motion of the head. Peculiarities seem mainly restricted to the muscles of locomotion and up-side-down feeding adaptation. no thymus found. Deltoid apparently absent. Especially no scapula (one) Pteropus S# 2500
