By that arrangement we can let Ryan and Archbold know the mountain weather and they can act accordingly. So as things stand our local weather is of little value in telling tem about the mountains weather. Friday June 26 Cloudy morning and still no sign of the hills. Aeroplane still here Champion came along with plane as guest passenger. Nothing in traps. Crocodile (6 feet ?) seen swimming in rivers. In afternoon still cloudy and no flight attempted. Stars out tonight however, so perhaps tomorrow will be all right. Saturday June 27. Only a little rain locally but must have been quantities in the hills for river very high. Plane going to have a try to make delivery this morning. (9.05- Plane took off: 9.55 back again. 10.30 I flew Jim with them to put a look at my new course & camp. Scenery magnificent but will describe in next letter.
