it's high join D'Albertis Dome (= Mt Dami), plus the 8000-ft range Mt Lyons (= Mt Saré, the man-of-war mountain of Champin's account). That Macpugor [illegible] D'Albertisor if [sic] could have seen the range beyond the Dap Range and the Stuckled river which Paris marks "Victor Emmanuel" on his map seems to me improbable. And the spur range of the Chattleburg into on which Paris has bestowed the name D'Albertis Dome is [illegible]. And Paris's use of "D'Albertis Dome" for the spur range of the Chattleburg into east of 142° and north of 5° is obviously erroneous, since it lies about 25° east of Macpugor's ray for the real "D'Albertis Dome". But even though the above arguments be substantially correct, the names Victor Emmanuel and Dap have [illegible] come very generally for the ranges to the north and south of the Stuckled River, and considering that we shall never know just what range or combination of ranges were called by D'Albertis "Victor Emmanuel", it would cause much needless
