L. 18. P. 13. during the night. Hope for view of the mountains today. Plane due to make first parachute delivery to Willie tomorrow at Blucher. Weather from 5th exceptionally cloudy. Talked to Anhold 5.30pm. No news. Thursday, June 18. Weather rather hazy & drizzly for plane's flight. Two people say they have heard it (10.30), and it may now be of inside looking over the mountain situation. This morning a young birdieart (Echinoptera) in traps and another friend living Melmys. Jim nature's just thought in a crowsway. Plane just arrived 10.50. Deliveries successfully made. Willie + Healy and all seemed to be in good shape. Closing this letter now to send out by plane.
