Description.- Smaller than the
Australian leatherhead. Loud and
noisy.
Collecting.- There are apparently
no differences between birds from New
Caledonia and the Loyalty Islands, but
a small series is welcome.
Native name.- Kuchalu (Lifu),
Kutti (Maré).
