Walking by here I found the mummified corpse of a ♀ Mauve-LBlue/Mauve-LBlue#1849 under one of the row trees Bird recorded as "Disappeared" (last December) leading to last year's nest hole (the tree before it, to be precise). There is a hole in this tree that was a nest several years ago; it's currently plugged up (by rodents?). Not sure these 2 phenomena are related; probably not. In any case, the bird isn't is all tried out but feathers are still obvious in some areas. My guess is that it's ~1 mo old?? 2 May 845.
