Return him to the fold! 24 July Discovering that we couldn't find blood for 8665 today, Mark, Mone & I went up this evening to watch roosting and attempt to ambush with the pole at the hole in the Valley Oak above the granary on the hill. As it happened, that's where most everyone (4 birds?) roosted. However, even at 2020, when I went to close the hole off, they were quite skittish, and at least 3 birds flushed before I could shut off the hole. Checking it anyway, it turned out that one bird hung in there - and it was him!
