Hen for ½ hr, during which a bird Carricked here on 2 occasions. No other activity, however. 1040. Bird swooped in: 8 gr/Mv. [illegible]. Someone here after all. 27 May 1045. Found the nest - in a new hole in the traditional tree. Sounds like babies (not real old, though). 29 May 1430. Opened the hole here with Mark; 3 babies ~9-10 do. 4 September 1500. Nest! 3 babies! In the other nest hole (not this year's). Set up an ambush for Mark; babies maybe 16 do(?) (Up here looking for nests with Jan Ekman and his wife.)
