1945. Chased The 8 out at 1915 tonight so as to be sure
to get him, and I did: 8426 roosted alone in the nest.
29 May
Mark banded the 4 babies here and added 2
transplanted Lewis' Woodpeckers to the brood.
31 May
2000. Danny watched and reported that 8426 roosted
alone in the nest.
15 June
15DD. Plenty of stores left here. Saw 2 birds, but no babies.

940. No birds in holes here, except for a Nuthatch in the '90 nest
hole.

955. No real sign that this territory is occupied. Leaving.

940. Bird in new hole on the long straight limb in central area.
1125. Bird in the hole again. That's it, I'm afraid.

1400. Opened the hole. Not an easy one by any means.
