Capacity is surely in the 3000+ range. 25 March Watched roosting here tonight with Roger. One bird was in the high Sycamore hole early as usual. Two others came by and roosted in entirely different places. Hence, there would definitely appear to be 3 birds here, not the 2 on the field list. Too bad they're all roosting independently! 19 April 1715. Checked the hole from last year, which Mark saw a bird in this morning - empty. 28 April 1330. Mark checked the hole: 4 eggs! 28 May 1800.
