1991 1992 Walter D Koenig Melanerpes formicivorus Gate. GNHR 12 May It turns out that, as best we can tell, there's only 1 ♀ here! Only ♀ (57). So Mark did not remove the remaining 3 eggs. (If only I could find some Lewis' Woodpecker eggs to replace them with....) 23 May 900. Checked the hole, expecting young babies, to find 3 large (>30g) kids (smallest was <30g, but other 2 were not); my guess is that they're ~7 do at least, hence hatching must have been back on ~16 May. 26 May 1030. Still 3 babies and again no parasite board. I also failed to bring up The 100g pesola so I didn't even weigh them. They largest has eyes just opening, though, so they are about 10d old. 27 May 1950. ♂1513 roosted in the nest by himself tonight. 29 May 2000. All 3 girls fed during the twilight moments; once again ♂1513 roosted by himself in the nest. 3 June 2000. Both ♂1512 & ♂1513 roosted in the nest tonight. 4 June Stanback watched tonight and got ♂1513 roosting in the nest. 15 July 1545. Still some stored acorns here. 1992 1 January 1145. Only 25 acorns stored here (presumably Westgate's). According to Connie, have moved to Horsetail! where they are storing and everything! *Group Update* ♂1513.
