On the morning of June 19, I revisited the River Walk from
05:45 to 07:45, mostly on the west end. The morning was
clear, light breeze from E., Temp about 60°F. Birds not
found yesterday were American Kestrel & Spotted Towhee; more
conspicuous were the woodpeckers, Black-capped Chickadees,
and Black-headed Grosbeaks. Others were Green-backed Heron,
Killdeer & Virginia Rail. Two Lesser Goldfinches were seen.

June 19-23 After leaving the River Walk, I drove to BLM office on the
west edge of Canyon City. After stating my interest, I was
directed to Paul Trentych and Erik Brekke. They did not
