Warm-eating Warbler Helminthos vermivora TRACIET J. 1990 San Pedro River National Riparian Conservation Area, ½ mi S. of Arizona Highway 78 bridge, Cochise Co., Arizona. Elevation 4420 ft. August 24 I netted a single bird of this species about 07:40 this morning. I saw no evidence of skull ossification when I checked, so I think the bird is a young of the year. I let it go. This is all the more astounding since I netted (and collected) one at Junii, New Mexico just six days ago. Perhaps there is a little known migratory corridor for this species just along the Arizona & New Mexico state line.
