74 TROCHET, J. 1990 Journal August 21 Little Colorado River 5/2 miles W. Holbrook, Navajo Co., Arizona, Elevation: 5050 ft Goldfinches seen much scarcer today. But by moving my nets twice in the period I had them up (06:05 - 11:30), I obtained a handful of lesser goldfinches today. But walking around too grous, I think it a case of diminishing returns on my time, and after putting up birds, cleaning up and packing up, I am looking for SE Arizona tonight. Weather today was virtually identical to yesterday's (q.v.). Species list for Little Colorado River Aug 18-21: Amphibia: Woodhouse's Toad Reptiles: Cnemidophorus sp. Grotzygatus - seen all over!
