Kenner Whitehorse County Park on N. bank of the Rogue River 7 miles W. of Grants Pass, Josephine Co., Oregon July 25 I arrived here at 07:15 after breakfast at Denny's in Grants Pass. The park has two fairly distinct zones, the floodplain and the bench above the floodplain. The latter is mainly manicured park, with Douglas firs and pines up to 110 ft. height ¾, 2½ ft. dbh, also many white oaks 70-85 ft tall & 1½ - 4½ ft dbh, generally well spaced. There are also madrones to 45 ft and maples to 45 ft admixed.
